Since 2014, the non-profit Hacker School has been offering programming courses for children and young people aged 11 to 18. The courses are led by IT professionals from dedicated companies who pass on their passion for IT and digital education to the participants. Teaching takes place both on-site and online. The aim is to develop up-and-coming IT talent and enable all participants with no prior knowledge to develop their own small projects such as games, apps or websites using programming languages like Python, Scratch, HTML or Javascript.
